The client’s main objective was to open up the existing dwelling into a four bedroom modern family home whilst maintaining the original cottage character from street view.
The home was extended with a new family room, laundry, two bedrooms, garage/carport and outdoor entertaining area and the rest of the house was renovated with a new kitchen, re-designed living and dining areas, bathrooms and new finishes and materials throughout.
The result is a modern family home which has retained its original charm and character, whilst achieving a 6 star energy rating.
